Greetings Vish-K, first and foremost thank you for sitting down with TheHipHopCloud for this Inside The Cloud interview. Since it’s our first interview together let’s take it back to your debut in the music industry and how you got here.

Where did you originate from, and how did you get your name Vish-K?

Vish-K: Where did you originate from, and how did you get your name Vish-K? I was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Stone Mountain, GA. Vish-K came about thru my spiritual journey when I was younger studying different cultures.

How long have you been making music & what have been your inspirations coming up?

Vish-K: I’ve been making music for over 10 years now. I find my inspiration from living life, and learning everyday knowing, tomorrow isn’t promised I’ve see a lot, and relate it in my music.

If you could work with anybody in the music industry, who would you like to collaborate with?

Vish-K: I would want to collaborate with either Lil Baby or Travis Scott.

You released a new single last month called Fiya Song! Tell us everything about it and how it came about!

Vish-K: Fiya song is a culture “wake-up” song. What I mean is the song is different as far as style when creating my songs from the past. The song can be classified an “Afro-Beat” song because it sounds very culturally diverse. The song came about as a fellow Artist, named “MC Confess,” blessed me with the song, and said he can hear me do my thing with the beat, and it was history after that.

How do you deal with the hate and envy?

Vish-K: I deal with the hate and envy by ignoring it, and to keep doing my thing, because I got the understanding that if I’m not doing anything right then I won’t have any haters.

With all the diversity nowadays in the industry, who are your top 5 artists and producers?

Vish-K: My top Artist: Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Future, Kodack Black, and The Migos. My top Music Producers
Are K.E. On the Track, Young Metro, Zaytoven, Kanye West, and Pharrell.

If you had any advice to give to an upcoming artist, what would it be?

Vish-K: You have to invest in yourself to make it out here. Don’t be naïve and think your going to make it into the music industry free.

Are you working on any upcoming project we should know about?

Vish-K: I’m putting songs together just recording new music to have different songs on standby for whatever I want to drop,

Vish-K! Thank you again for taking the time to do this interview with us for Inside The Cloud with TheHipHopCloud!
